Iqra Tajweedi Qaida is taught as an essential part of the Early Years Islamic and Quranic education program from Pre-Nursery to Class Prep, covering children between 3 to 5 years of age.
The program introduces young learners to the Arabic alphabet, correct pronunciation of Arabic letters, basic Tajweedi rules, and early Quranic reading skills through an age-appropriate and progressive approach. At this stage, the teaching methodology focuses on developing familiarity with the Arabic language and creating a strong foundation for future Nazra and Hifz-ul-Quran.
The program uses Iqra Tajweedi Qaida as the core learning resource and follows a gradual progression according to the developmental level and learning capacity of each age group. Teachers introduce concepts through repetition, oral practice, listening activities, visual recognition, guided reading, and regular individual practice.
Students learn to:
Teachers continuously observe and assess each child’s progress and provide additional support and repetition wherever required. The learning pace remains flexible and child-centred, ensuring that students develop understanding and confidence rather than simply completing the Qaida at a fixed speed.
Through this structured approach, Iqra Tajweedi Qaida provides a strong foundation for correct Quranic recitation and helps children develop an early connection with the Holy Quran. The program aims to ensure that every child progresses gradually with confidence, accuracy, interest, and love for Quranic learning.
After successfully completing the Qaida program, children progress to Grade 1, where they begin learning Nazra Quran with Tajweed.
At this stage, students apply the foundational skills developed through Qaida, including recognition of Arabic letters, correct pronunciation and articulation (Makharij), joining of letters, reading with Harakaat, and basic Tajweedi rules.
The Nazra program focuses on enabling students to:
The aim is not simply for children to be able to read the Quran, but to ensure that they develop the ability to recite confidently and with proper Tajweed.
The Hifz-ul-Quran Program begins from Class 2 and follows a structured, progressive plan designed to enable students to complete the memorization of the Holy Quran with accuracy, consistency and strong retention.
Throughout the program, equal emphasis is placed on new memorization (Sabaq), recent revision (Sabqi), and long-term revision (Manzil) to ensure that students retain what they have memorized and recite with accuracy and confidence.
After completing the memorization of the entire Holy Quran, students undergo two complete cycles of revision to strengthen their retention and ensure fluency and accuracy in their recitation.
Once the Quran has been revised twice after the completion of Hifz, students are prepared to appear in the examination conducted by Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan.
The program aims not only to enable students to memorise the Holy Quran but also to develop strong retention, correct Tajweed, disciplined revision habits and a lifelong connection with the Book of Allah.
The Academic Programme from Grade 1 to Grade 6 is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in essential academic skills while progressing systematically according to their age, developmental stage and learning needs. The core subjects of English, Urdu and Mathematics focus on developing literacy, communication, comprehension, reasoning, problem-solving and independent learning skills.
