Awaaz
Awaaz is a signature annual event that celebrates the beauty of Quranic recitation and Islamic expression while providing students with a platform to showcase their talents.
The event brings together students from all campuses of Hidayah, Peshawar Model Schools (PMS), as well as participating external schools, creating a healthy and inspiring environment of competition and learning.
Students compete in three major categories:
- Qirat
- Naat
- Azaan
Each category is further divided into two age groups:
- Group I: Class 1 to Class 3
- Group II: Class 4 to Class 6
Noor-e-Hidayah:
A major highlight of the event is Noor-e-Hidayah, a Quran-based quiz competition covering the last 10 Siparas of the Holy Quran. This segment encourages students to deepen their understanding of the Quran and strengthens their knowledge through an engaging and competitive format.
The winners of the Qirat, Naat and Azaan competitions are given the special opportunity to participate in professional studio recordings. Their recorded performances and videos are subsequently displayed across all campuses, celebrating their achievements and inspiring other students.
Through Awaaz, Hidayah aims to nurture confidence, develop students’ talents, strengthen their connection with Islamic values and provide them with meaningful opportunities to excel and be recognised.
